Our Purpose

Our purpose as a church is to gather people into the kingdom of God

by giving ourselves to others, gaining a sense of community, while

growing in knowledge of Christ; thus, glorifying God in all that we do.

 
 

Because we as a church value:

 

Worship: (Ps. 100:4-5, 2:11, 29:2, Is. 66:5b, John 4:23-24, Heb. 12:28)

  • Worship brings the body together to glorify God, and worship brings the body together to strengthen each other.

  •   It allows each of us both personally, and corporately to come into contact with God through His Word.

 

Bible instruction: (Acts 8:30-31, Ps. 119:105, 2 Tim. 3:16)

  • We will grow in Christ by providing Bible education that encourages us to live out what we learn.

 

 Fellowship (Community): (Phil. 2:1-2, 1 John 1:3,7, Gal. 6:2, Acts 2:42-47, Eph. 2:19-20, Ps. 133:1-3)

  • We will gain a sense of community by providing a place and opportunity where we can share with and carry each other’s burden.

 

Ministries (Service): (Eph. 4:11-12, 2 Tim.4:5, 1 Cor. 12:4-7, Ex. 35:35-36:1, )

  • We will give of ourselves to the work of the Lord by providing opportunities that will equip individuals for the work of ministry.

 

Evangelism: (Matt. 28:16-20, Mark 16:15, Luke 24:47-49, Genesis 9:1, Genesis 12:1-3)

  • We will gather into the church the lost in our community by aggressively reaching out and demonstrating God’s love in practical ways.
